An exploration of regret, longing and the fragility of the human spirit, I'M THINKING OF ENDING THINGS is directed and written by Academy Award (R) winner Charlie Kaufman (ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND). Inspired by Iain Reid's bestselling namesake novel." ratings: IMDB: 7.5/10 Rotten Tomatoes: 82% [N/A] Metacritic: 75% "I'm Thinking of Ending Things" is netflix's latest original adaptation (directed my Charlie Kaufman). I can safely say this film was pure gold especially in our abysmal movie season at the moment. This film is boring on genreless giving you a taste of everything it can manage while being cohesive and beautiful which leads me to my next point. Every shot in this film is absolutely amazing. the film manages to make you feel like a fly on the wall, watching the horrific story from a distance. Large portions of the film make you feel like you friends are arguing but it would be to awkward if you were to leave so you sit still intrigued. Jessie Buckley gives a stand out performance and brings reliability to the table while Jesse Plemons depicts anger and stress in the most realistic way possible. These two leads show absolute perfection in there performances and give true beauty to the blissfully grim message in the tale. FlawsAlthough I find the film virtually flawless I will count that this film is definitely not for everybody. In alot of way this film is a lot like a Darren Aronofsky film being a mind bending, genreless thriller. This film is semi-plotless and very open to interpretation. Which is where my flaw lies. because of the films presentation may not allow for heavy rewatch value. its slow and depressing so many fans may not come back to that upon second viewing My Rating: 87%Credit:
